Our Managing Director, Michael Tyrimos, joined the panel "From technology investment to measurable business value", alongside leaders from Accenture, NOVA ICT and Pleiades, in a discussion moderated by Vasilis Samourkas, Managing Editor of Fortune Greece.
The Power of Innovation is Fortune Greece's annual gathering on innovation and growth. This year's edition was built around a simple idea: innovation creates possibilities, execution turns them into growth. The programme covered four areas: Tech, on turning technology into business value; Scale, on turning innovation into growth; Trust, on building the resilient digital enterprise; and New Frontiers, on defence, space and deep tech. The Fortune Greece 40under40 ran across the whole day, recognising the next generation of business leaders.
The conversation matters because innovation is moving from promise to application. Technology, artificial intelligence and digital infrastructure open new possibilities, but the real test for any organisation is turning them into practical, scalable results: higher productivity, a stronger competitive position and sustainable growth that can be measured.
As Fortune Greece reported, Michael stressed that any conversation with a business should start from the need it wants to address, not from the technology it wants to use. Assessing processes and existing systems comes first, because that is how you find out whether the answer is a change in the way people work, a new application or a wider transformation.
He also noted that the role of technology advisors is changing, as businesses now build their own applications with AI tools. The challenge is making sure those applications run securely, have the right controls in place and can be used in real conditions.
